Bandai Namco and Dimps announced on Sunday, October 25, 2026, the celebration plans for the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The game, originally launched in 2016, will receive a free update on October 27, followed by the Final Festival of Universes starting October 30.
What happens in the update and festival?
The free update on October 27 brings new login bonuses, special costumes, and an update to the Gallery of Time, which can be unlocked by owners of the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC. During the Final Festival, players can raise camaraderie levels with Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time, or Fu to unlock special illustrations.
Additionally, rare and hard-to-obtain items return, and players will earn 25 times more Star Coins than usual, making it easier to exchange them for rewards. Participating in the festival also grants a new Gi and a commemorative medal.
Rewards for Xenoverse 3
Owning the Gi or the medal allows unlocking special items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, scheduled for 2027, by linking the Bandai Namco ID. The sequel will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The announcement was made via official Bandai Namco statement and accompanied by a trailer. The game remains available on multiple platforms, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
