Cygames has officially announced the cancellation of the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby shows scheduled for October 22 and 23, 2026, in Los Angeles, United States.
What happened?
The “7th EVENT WORLD TOUR: THE STAGE in LOS ANGELES” was canceled because the team could not obtain the necessary visas for the cast members to enter the country, despite months of efforts with local lawyers and promoters. The final announcement came in the early hours of October 20 (Brasília time), after a previous notice the day before about the uncertainty.
The company expressed regret and apologized to the Trainers (fans) who were looking forward to the show, as well as the cast and team involved. Refunds will be processed for in-person and streaming tickets.
Why it matters
Uma Musume is one of the biggest phenomena in Japanese games and anime, with global fans. The cancellation of a major international show close to the date highlights logistical and immigration challenges for Japanese productions abroad. Additional details about the official tour will be released on the event website.
