CD Projekt RED has officially announced the free Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.5, set for October 22, 2026. The patch, known as the Edgerunners 2 Update, arrives to celebrate the launch of the second season of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime on Netflix.

The Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.5 includes cyberware customization, a new dual-wielding playstyle (using two weapons at once, such as pistols or revolvers), new side quests like Clampdown and Welcome to Paradise, a radio with Edgerunners anime tracks, new Glamdocs to customize arms and hands, and more improvements. According to the official announcement on X (@CyberpunkGame), the update arrives on October 22 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, with the Switch 2 version shortly after. Sources like Gematsu, Forbes, IGN and Insider Gaming confirmed the information from the developer's statement.
