Japanese developer BeXide announced Cat and Paste!, a hide-and-seek party game for PC via Steam. The announcement, reported by Gematsu on October 9, 2026, includes an open playtest from October 16 at 18:00 Japan time to October 19 at 16:00.
How the hide-and-seek works
The premise is a prop hunt with cats. Hiders copy a stage object and paste decoys around the map to disappear in plain sight. Crates, barrels, tractors and even large trees can be copied. Matches pit cats against hunters, online, with 2 to 16 players.
There are two modes: Hide & Seek Royale and Hide & Seek WARS. Public rooms are planned, and streamers will be able to share a code to play with their audience. Confirmed languages are English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Russian.
A full release date has not been announced. What is confirmed for now is the public test in that October window.
