CONFIRMED: ATMOSFAR, a sky-high survival adventure from Swedish developer Apog Labs, published by Shueisha Games, enters Early Access for PC on October 29, 2026, on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The game takes place on the alien planet Tycos, a world of floating islands above the clouds, where players must uncover the fate of humanity's final outpost. Aerial exploration blends with resource gathering, survival and building: players scavenge scrap to design and upgrade flying vessels, while their base travels with them.
That base is the Cloud Cruiser, a large, customizable mobile airbase with a hangar for the vessels, a lounge area and the helm from which players pilot it themselves. The Wasps, agile craft that can fly and hover, take on distinct roles on each expedition, such as setting up camps, hauling heavy scrap and facing hostile creatures.
The journey can be played solo or in online co-op for up to four players, who can fly in formation, hitch a ride on a friend's Wasp and manage the group's Cloud Cruiser together. Weather also shapes planning: storms, jet streams and extreme phenomena make every crossing between islands a calculated risk.
Pre-launch interest reached a milestone on October 19, 2026, when Apog Labs announced on Steam that ATMOSFAR had passed 300,000 wishlists.
