ASUS Intel Arc Pro B70: brand launches first Arc card with 32GB for local AI

The ASUS Intel Arc Pro B70 is here: ASUS has announced its first Intel Arc graphics card, the UGen Intel Arc Pro B70 32GB GDDR6, aimed at local AI inference and workstations. The news came from sources such as IT Home and VideoCardz on October 17, 2026.

What happened?

The ASUS Intel Arc Pro B70 card uses Intel's Big Battlemage BMG-G31 GPU with Xe2-HPG architecture, 32 Xe cores, 256 XMX AI engines and up to 367 INT8 TOPS. It features 32GB of ECC GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, 608 GB/s bandwidth, maximum clock of 2800 MHz and 310W TBP. The design is dual-slot with a blower cooler, PCIe 5.0 x16 interface and 12V-2x6 connector. It supports up to four cards for 128GB total VRAM.

ASUS positions the product for frameworks such as vLLM, llama.cpp, Ollama, PyTorch and OpenVINO. Price and availability have not yet been announced.

Why does this matter?

After years away from the discrete Intel GPU market (the last was the DG1 in 2021), ASUS enters the professional AI segment with the ASUS Intel Arc Pro B70. With high demand for local model hardware, the card offers an option with ECC and multi-GPU scalability, unlike consumer cards.

What changes in practice?

Developers and companies can build denser local inference systems with the ASUS Intel Arc Pro B70. A four-card configuration allows larger models with more VRAM. The card is not aimed at games, but at AI and workstation workloads.
