The Arknights Endfield Steam launch is set for October 15, 2026, the same day as the Sanctuary of Ink update. GRYPHLINE and developer Mountain Contour confirmed the free-to-play 3D RPG on PC, with cross-progression for players who already own the game elsewhere. The release notes were reported by Gematsu, and the Steam page is already listed.
What happened?
The game is already on PlayStation 5, the official launcher, the Epic Games Store, the App Store and Google Play. Arknights Endfield Steam widens the PC audience and lets an existing account continue on Talos-II without starting over. The official account also said the title passed 300,000 wishlists and released the code ENDFIELDSTEAM, valid until November 25, 2026, with rewards including 8,000 T-Creds and a commemorative portrait frame.
Sanctuary of Ink takes Endministrators inside Si’s painting. Si, a Feranmut Proxy, welcomes the injured protagonist to Yuanyuan Manor Inn. The Miracle Brush creates bridges and reshapes the landscape. Two Operators join: Si, who draws an Inksoul from an enemy and transfers damage, and Argent Flow, who mixes sword and spear work with mounted charges on the warhorse Nuli.
Why it matters
Endfield is the real-time 3D spin-off of Hypergryph’s Arknights series. A Steam launch is often the moment a Chinese live-service game becomes visible to a broader Western PC audience. The 300,000-wishlist mark, announced by GRYPHLINE, shows demand before the page is playable.
The chapter also brings back Contingency Contract as Indigo Experimental Operation, with modifiers that boost combo-skill damage and, in some cases, change enemy attack patterns. Between missions, Yuanyuan’s Blazing Stoves lets players grow crops, raise animals and serve guests at a countryside inn.
What changes in practice?
- Arknights Endfield Steam launches on October 15, 2026, alongside Sanctuary of Ink on every platform.
- Cross-progression between PC, mobile and PlayStation 5.
- New Operators Si and Argent Flow in successive banners.
- Quality-of-life upgrades: equipment loadouts, more precise mouse targeting and placing structures from the depot.
The soundtrack includes Zhai Jinyan, composer of Black Myth: Wukong, and Ludvig Forssell, of Death Stranding, plus the band 8:48 and Crywolf.
