The ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access arrives today (November 3, 2026) on Steam. The open-world action MMORPG by XLGAMES enters early access at a price of $29.99.

Launch is set for 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET under a buy-to-play model. Pre-orders receive the exclusive Dawn Pioneer Set (one costume set for a class of choice).

What’s in ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access?

According to XLGAMES and the official Steam announcement:

  • Three regions of Auroria: expanded Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins, and Astron Plains.
  • Four classes (Warrior, Ranger, Berserker, and Mage) with two weapons each (eight total), with weapon swapping in combat.
  • Exploration, dungeons, raids, PvP, housing, crafting, trading, and guild/company activities.
  • Estimated Early Access period of 9 to 12 months, with regular updates based on feedback.

The game uses Unreal Engine 5, features action-oriented combat (with parries and cancels), and is set roughly 50 years after the original ArcheAge. Its October Steam Next Fest demo ranked highly among the most played. More details on the official Steam page.

Why ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access matters

ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access marks the return of the franchise with direct self-publishing by XLGAMES in the West. Early Access lets the community shape remaining content, including more regions, a third weapon per class, and gender options.
