Analogue Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+: FPGA re-release with wireless and USB-C

Analogue Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+ were announced on October 16, 2026 as the official re-release of Analogue's FPGA consoles for Super Nintendo/Super Famicom and Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, updated versions of the original 2017 and 2018 models.

What's new in Analogue Super Nt+?

The Analogue Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+ incorporate native Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless support for 8BitDo and modern controllers, USB-C port for power (with included supply), extra USB-A port, revised industrial design, new operating system and hot-swap cartridge capability without powering off.

Precision remains based on in-house designed FPGA, no software emulation, compatibility with over 2,200 region-free titles, 1080p video optimized for 2D and zero lag. Each console costs $219.99, with pre-orders opening October 19 at 8am PDT and shipping expected in December 2026.

Why this re-release matters?

The original Super Nt and Mega Sg models went out of production and reached high prices on the used market. The Plus versions bring contemporary conveniences without compromising the hardware fidelity essential for authentic 16-bit game preservation.
