Radical Fish Games published Alabaster Dawn 0.2.0 in Early Access on October 2, 2026. The CrossCode studio describes the patch as a gameplay preview of the new Scala Moor area and the Hall of Trials, with new enemies, boss fights, a weapon, and an elemental aspect.
The announcement went out on the official blog and was echoed on X by the studio account. The team says the delay against its internal schedule does not change the scope: the update tests gameplay, it does not advance the narrative.
What 0.2.0 adds
The center of the patch is the Scala Moor preview and the Trial of Cryo. The new weapon is the spear, Juno's first melee option with a pierce attack type, and the new aspect is Cryo. A path that was blocked in Koro Valley now opens after a puzzle.

The Somu's Dream roguelite mode gains a Scala Moor layer, new blessings, and perks such as Early Dreamer and Magnificent Eye. Radical Fish also adjusted multipliers: Fatal Frenzy rises from 5% to 10% strength, while the per-layer shard multiplier drops from 25% to 20%.
What is still missing
The notes are explicit: there is no new story. The area's narrative is planned for a future update. That is why the studio recommends keeping a save before testing the preview, so the section can be replayed once the story is in the game.
Alabaster Dawn, formerly Project Terra, entered Early Access with 0.1.0. Version 0.2.0 was the next public roadmap milestone, centered on the swamp west of Sundalan. Friday's release confirms the test content, not the end of the campaign.
