The Brazilian game [AFANTASIA], a surreal point-and-click from solo developer noidnoidnoid, now has a publisher: Studio Sasanqua, founded by Kenji Ozawa, director of Visions of Mana, after the closure of NetEase Games' Ouka Studio. The October 1, 2026 announcement is Sasanqua's debut as a publisher.
It is coming to PC on Steam, with English, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. A release date has not been announced.
What the game is
According to the announcement, [AFANTASIA] follows a boy who wakes with no memories and finds his hometown, Tempo, turned into a nostalgic blur between reality and imagination. A voice called Intrusion guides him as he recovers fragments of a past he traded away, before his identity fades. On itch.io, the developer describes stylized pixel art, an immersive soundtrack, and point-and-click mixed with puzzles, and states that no generative AI was used in the content.
Why Sasanqua is stepping in
Studio Sasanqua says it will bring the same idea it applies to its own games into publishing: a comfortable experience and themes that invite reflection. It says the team includes people with AAA production experience and that Ozawa will work directly on each title with partners. Promotion and marketing are treated as part of development. The company hopes to announce a second publishing title later this year. That is a studio statement, not a confirmed release.
Brazil Game Show
The game can be tried at Brazil Game Show 2026 in São Paulo from October 9 to 12. It will be the first time Studio Sasanqua exhibits a title as a publisher.
