Adobe and NVIDIA optimize Photoshop and Premiere for RTX Spark with up to 2x faster AI

On October 15, 2026, Adobe and NVIDIA announced the expansion of their partnership to optimize creative tools such as Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge, delivering faster AI-powered creation and production.

What happened?

Adobe is bringing the power of the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip — launching on October 16 — to agentic applications like Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D. Optimized for RTX Spark's unified memory and AI compute, these apps deliver up to 2x faster AI processing, editing, color and effects.

Photoshop was rearchitected around GPU-accelerated compositing, making the Remove Tool and effects like Gaussian Blur and Light Leaks more responsive. In Premiere, playback, rendering, effects, color and AI tools such as Enhance Speech and Object Mask gain RTX acceleration.

For Frame.io, cloud media processing uses NVDEC and TensorRT, with early results of roughly 5x faster embedding generation and 4-5x improvement in P95 latency. Brand Concierge was optimized with NVIDIA's open Nemotron models, and NVIDIA itself will use the tool on NVIDIA.com.

Why does this matter?

With the imminent launch of RTX Spark, the optimization places NVIDIA hardware in the daily workflow of professional creators who use Adobe. This reduces reliance on the cloud for local AI tasks and speeds iteration in video, image and 3D production — relevant for games, anime, films and geek content.

Deepa Subramaniam of Adobe highlighted that creative workflows are more multimodal than ever, and performance is critical to keeping focus on ideas. Jason Paul of NVIDIA reinforced that AI agents unlock richer workflows in the Adobe apps people know.
