AAEON announced on October 30, 2026 that it will bring five live edge AI demonstrations to Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. The event runs November 3-5, 2026, at Fira de Barcelona, and the company's booth will be C163 in Hall 3.
The demonstrations are built on NVIDIA Jetson and cover smarter mobility, urban safety, agentic workflow automation and interactive robotics, with processing happening on the device, at the edge, rather than relying only on the cloud.
The five demonstrations
The first uses the MAXER-5000 AI inference server, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson T5000 module, running a spatial workflow agent from ANIWEAVE on Avalanche Computing's agentic AI platform, aimed at secure operations inside internal networks.
The second is the compact fanless embedded system BOXER-8652AI, accelerated by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, in a video analytics solution with the Isarsoft Perception platform, providing real-time traffic insights at the edge for safer urban mobility.
The third uses the BOXER-8621AI, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, in USB camera-based object detection, with device identity and AI model security software from SandGrain, drone vision using Network Optix Meta and Ultralytics YOLO, remote management from Balena and runtime protection from Exein.
The fourth is the reveal of a new bespoke rugged tablet, the RTC-1210-Orin NX, showcasing in the field technologies such as Pollen Robotics' Reachy Mini, a companion robot agent for human-machine interaction.
The fifth is the BOXER-8640AI, powered by NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, in an emergency detection and response system, equipped with A.I Tech's suite of over 20 applications and protocols, to speed up detection of urban risks such as poor road and weather conditions.
At booth C163, visitors will also find upcoming products from AAEON's roadmap featuring technologies accelerated by both NVIDIA Jetson Orin and NVIDIA Jetson Thor modules.
