007 First Light Starter Pack is free on PC and Xbox; PlayStation version arrives November 10

IO Interactive launched the 007 First Light Starter Pack on Wednesday, November 5, 2026, letting players try the game's opening mission in Iceland for free, as a young James Bond. The pack is already available on PC via Steam and on Xbox Series X|S.

According to the developer's official announcement, made together with Amazon MGM Studios, the Starter Pack is a taste of the full adventure. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers get their own option as well: an exclusive one-hour Timed Trial. The Free Starter Pack itself reaches PlayStation players on November 10.

Progress carries over, with limited-time discounts

Progress made in the Starter Pack or the Timed Trial carries over to the full game after purchase, so nothing earned in the trial is lost. Alongside the launch, the game went on sale for a limited time: 40% off on PC via Steam from November 5 to 9; 40% off on Xbox Series X|S from November 5 to 15; and 50% off on PlayStation 5 from November 5 to 30.

007 First Light is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon.com and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, in Standard, Deluxe, Collector's and Legacy editions. The game is a reimagining of James Bond's origin, developed and published by IO Interactive, the studio behind the HITMAN franchise.
